Howard W. Buffett is a co-founder of i(x), where he brings leadership experience from roles in government, philanthropy, academia, and international development.
He is an Associate Professor in International and Public Affairs at Columbia University and was previously the Executive Director of the Howard G. Buffett Foundation. Buffett also served in the U.S. Department of Defense overseeing economic stabilization and redevelopment programs in Iraq and Afghanistan. Before that, he was a Policy Advisor in the White House, where he co-authored the President’s cross-sector partnerships strategy.
Buffett earned his BS from Northwestern University and his MPA from Columbia University, and co-authored the New York Times Bestseller 40 Chances: Finding Hope in a Hungry World.
